Description: Former NPS archeologist Dr. Eric Larsen will lead this program, including a presentation, hands-on activities and a walking tour through Lower Town Harpers Ferry from curbside to backyards. The program will include topics related to the town’s health, sanitation and state of medicine. The tour will also revisit significant sites where archaeological digs revealed 19th century living conditions, as well as social and class habits.
