Aspiring booksellers should be able to work with minimal supervision, possess a basic knowledge of Windows software, and be committed to reliable attendance. Physical requirements include the ability to lift thirty pounds, negotiate stairs, and remain standing for the majority of an eight-hour workday. Prior sales experience, as well as coursework and/or an interest in history, are greatly appreciated in this position.

Hours typically range anywhere from six to forty hours per week. Booksellers may be called upon to work extra hours in emergencies or at off-site events. Please note that this position does not offer benefits.
